Antique ruby red Murano blown glass chandelier 6 lights, Italian wrought iron chandelier, Tre Fuochi style
This Ruby Red antique chandelier is a rare piece of the 20s. It has been handcrafted by prominent glass artists in their workshops in Venice using traditional Murano glassblowing technique.
The so called “Tre Fuochi” or “Three Flames” originated in the Renaissance when rich and famous Venice residents sought luxury and refined elegance and the artisans sought glassware that was light, colorful and opulent.
The structure is in wrought iron and the arms have gorgeous curvy lines. The central part as well as the bobeches are made in Murano glass. Gorgeous glass macaroni beads swags and rare Murano drops.
The lampshades are included and are new made in Italy, but they perfectly match with this chandelier.
The chandelier has been completely renewed and rewired, so is a ready-to-use treasure item.
