Description
I found this rare chandelier in a villa in Milan, Northern Italy. It dates back to the 40s and has a typical birdcage shape in wrought iron which was very common at the time.
The curvy lines of the structure are in gold and covered with many tiny glass florettes.
What tells really about its beauty and rarity is the number of authentic white opaline drops from Murano, Venice which are very rare and difficult to find nowadays. Have a look at the beauty of the crystal bobeches from which pink opaline flowers hang! they match very well with the pendant glass decorations of the chandelier and the many crystal prisms swags.
So luminous, It has 5 lights on the structure and 1 at the center.
the chandelier has been newly rewired so it is a ready-to-use treasury item and perfectly COMPATIBLE IN US CANADA AND AUSTRALIA with E14 bulbs (not included, but can be provided upon request)
